We have been proud supporters of Polaris Project<\/a> for some time. As the site webmaster, I took their \u201cHuman Trafficking 101\u201d course and found the information to be quite enlightening. Therefore, I made it available to the entire team and we all completed the course. We are committed among ourselves to double down in support of both sexual freedom and in opposition to human trafficking and sexual exploitation.<\/p>\n

Polaris Project is a leader in combating human trafficking, offering critical resources and education to help individuals and organizations understand the scope of this crime and how to recognize it. Our team found the \u201cHuman Trafficking 101\u201d training to be both highly informative and exceptionally well presented, providing us with valuable insights to enhance our proactive measures.<\/p>\n

This $150 billion industry affects nearly 25 million people worldwide, with 16 million in forced private labor and 4.8 million subjected to forced sexual exploitation. The course emphasizes that trafficking involves force, fraud, or coercion, and under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, any minor involved is considered a trafficking victim\u2014no exceptions.<\/p>\n
